Retro technology considered by most to be well past its sell-by-date is selling for thousands of pounds on eBay. Apple products are known for lasting for a long period of time and holding their value, apparently. A second-generation iPod classic, circa 2002, is listed on eBay for almost $20,000 (£13,900). A first generation iPod classic is also worth $9,999, and a first-generation iPod mini $2,500.
